Places To Go Camping, Hiking, Backpacking, and Cycling

Camping, Hiking, Backpacking, and Cycling in and around Mississippi

There are quite a few good places to primitive camping, hiking, backpacking, and cycling in and around Mississippi. I'll work up blog entries for many that I know of and link to them here. If you know of good places, please share with me and I'll post it!

For a great, short,  high adventure, combine some of these. For example, mountain bike or canoe into your camping site for the night. Then keep mountain biking or canoeing the next day.The Black Creek Wilderness area is a good one for canoe-camping. The Noxube Hills Trails and Homochitto National Forest are good for mountain bike-camping. The Natchez Trace is good for road biking and camping.
